Claire is Head of Marketing at the University of Sheffield where she leads the central University marketing team, which works primarily on reputation enhancement and high quality recruitment marketing. She began her career in the Arts, marketing everything from the RSC, to Cannon and Ball. She later switched to Higher Education and has worked at University of Northumbria Students’ Union and Sheffield Hallam University, across areas including marketing, internal communications, PR, business development and business partnering. She is CIM-qualified and believes that universities can change lives in many ways. She was the first in her family to go to university, is obsessed with netball and is the mum of three potential students of the future.
